Join us for the 2027 edition of the gathering in Portneuf.

The Trudel spirit in action: the descendants of Philémon Trudel and Lucienne Lavallée take the spotlight in Portneuf!
The Trudel Family Association’s mission is to bring together all the descendants of our common ancestor, Jean Trudel. It is always a source of great pride to see how the various branches of our vast family tree keep this collective memory alive and vibrant.
Today, we head to Portneuf County, where the descendants of Philémon Trudel and Lucienne Lavallée gathered for their traditional “Campers’ Christmas.” The event took place on Philémon’s ancestral land, right by the log cabin that his son, Serge Trudel, built with his own hands using timber from the property.
The photo captures a warm handshake between Serge Trudel and his nephew Yann Trudel (a board member of the Association) beside the official Trudel flag. This touching moment was made possible by Cédric Trudel, who thoughtfully presented the flag to his father in front of the entire family.
Surrounding them, the extended family radiates joy. Sisters, uncles, brothers-in-law, cousins, and extended family members gathered to swim in the river and share laughter—with some even crossing the Atlantic from Europe to join the festivities!
A wonderful example of a gathering that inspires our entire community. What do your own big Trudel reunions look like?
